More than half a dozen floats rumbled into town, complete with festive music, watched by excited onlookers.
Organisers of this year’s Christmas carnival in Honiton are celebrating a successful night.
More than half a dozen floats rumbled into town, complete with festive music, watched by excited onlookers.
Helen Turner, who is on the carnival committee, said she and fellow organisers were delighted with the large turnout.
She said: “There were lots of people around on the night - we were well impressed!

“A lot more came to this carnival than in previous years.
“It helped that the weather was perfect, it was not too cold unlike Seaton the night before, which was freezing!

“It was a really Christmassy night and there was a lovely festive atmosphere.
“Everyone enjoyed singing along to the Christmas songs and having a bit of a dance.”
Helen estimates £650 was taken in donations on the night, which will go back into the carnival.
