Honiton’s annual Christmas Carnival returned with aplomb this year - lighting up High Street with festive sounds and sights.
Around a dozen floats and various walking entries were joined by four majorette troupes as they made the journey down Honiton High Street to a rapturous response from hundreds of excited spectators.
Helen Turner, Honiton Christmas carnival committee member: “We had a nice lot of entries this year and everyone made a real effort to make them Christmassy.
“Our carnival collection was up on previous years as well - we raised £600 which will be put in the pot to cover carnival costs.
“The atmosphere on the night was brilliant - everyone was in the Christmas spirit and cheering the floats. We are excited for next year’s carnival and hope it will be bigger and better than ever.”
