COMPUTER classes held at the former Age Concern Centre, in Honiton, are still without a new home - after plans to re-start them in the Senior Citizens' Centre fell through. The classes, popular with wannabe silver surfers, were a casualty of Age Concern's decision to close its East Devon centre, in King Street. The charity cited the outcome of a fire risk assessment for its decision to close the centre.Talks with Honiton Town Council prompted an offer of space in the Senior Citizens' Centre, but town clerk Lyn Hargood has confirmed the venue is now an unlikely choice."I don't think we can accommodate what they want," she told the Herald."However, we have been trying to find them somewhere else and are hopeful that the community college may be able to help."
