The chief executive of the NHS Partnership Trust is to be invited to a Honiton Town Council meeting - to explain why The Bungalow has not re-opened following roof repairs.
The Trust has told the Herald that the in-patient unit for dementia sufferers had been suspended ahead of a public consultation over its future.
Former staff believe The Bungalow, in the grounds of Honiton Community Hospital, has been closed for good.
However, town councillors are keen to hear what future use the building could have.
