Honiton: Funds found for new birthing pool
FUNDS for a new birthing pool at Honiton Community Hospital have been found and the replacement facility will be installed before the end of the year.

Honiton Hospital League of Friends has made a generous contribution towards the cost.
The League has now agreed to purchase three new, portable televisions for the hospital's maternity ward.
Members, however, expressed concern at a recent meeting that dog owners are walking their pets in the hospital's grounds and not clearing up after them.

Preparations are about to get under way for next year's hospital fete, with Honiton Rotary Club again taking the lead.
