A Honiton gallery is seeking makers’ work to show in its annual Christmas selling exhibition of contemporary craft and design.

The Thelma Hulbert Gallery (THG) is inviting professional and amateur makers from across the South West to submit their work for its Present Makers 2018 exhibition.

Present Makers celebrates the talent of contemporary crafts people and designer-makers, who make the South West such a vibrant place to live.

The exhibition showcases work in a diverse range of materials including glass, metal, wood, paper, textiles, prints, and jewellery.

More than 1,500 visitors attend the annual selling exhibition in search of gifts to support local makers and independent businesses from the south west.

Angela Blackwell, THG Curator said: “This is a great opportunity for both established and emerging South West makers to showcase their talents to a wide audience and to sell their work to buyers and collectors.”

The deadline for applications is Tuesday 18 September, 2018.
