A CHILD was rescued by Firefighters in Honiton High Street after becoming locked in a car.

A CHILD was rescued by Firefighters in Honiton High Street yesterday after becoming locked in a car.

The incident took place at around 5.45pm.

A Devon and Cornwall Fire Service spokesperson said: "One crew from Honiton attended with Watch Commander Fensome in charge. The crew released the child using small tools.
