Honiton: House burglaries

OF the 74 crimes recorded in Honiton over the past month, four were dwelling house burglaries.

Pc Ian Atyeo told Honiton Town Council on Monday that two involved entry via rear ground floor windows. In one case, a window was removed.

Another of the burglaries involved an invited guest who strayed to a different part of the property.

The fourth burglary concerned a break-in at an integral garage and an attempt to break into the house.

Overall, crime is down in Honiton.
