Honiton: Kim's got something to celebrate

CUSTOMERS of the Britannia Building Society in Honiton have been congratulating Kim Werner, who has notched up 25 years of service with the firm. A coffee morning was held today (Thursday) to mark the milestone.

CUSTOMERS of the Britannia Building Society in Honiton have been congratulating Kim Werner, who has notched up 25 years of service with the firm.

A coffee morning was held today (Thursday) to mark the milestone.

Kim, 48, joined the Honiton branch when it was the Bristol and West. She worked there for nine years before switching to branches in Chard, Tiverton and Ilminster.

Seven years ago, she returned to the Honiton branch.

Kim has lived in Honiton since she was 12 years old.

Britannia marked her long and loyal service by presenting her with a bouquet of flowers.

Proceeds of the coffee morning will be donated to Honiton Children's Centre.

Kim said: "I'd like to thank all the customers, who have been coming in to see me.

"Some of them have been customers of the branch since it first opened.
