Honiton Lions have presented a workbench and tools to COFI – which stands for Creative Opportunities For Independence – a charitable group that builds confidence among people with learning disabilities and gives them support and skills to to enter the workplace and become increasingly self-sufficient.
The workbench was hand made by Mark Dawkins of Dunkeswell for the Lions and was transported to Honiton by Paul Richards – both free of charge.
COFI Honiton is based at Unit 5, 18 King Street.
Honiton Lions are keen to encourage new members to join their friendly group and help maintain their fundraising efforts, which have played a major part in supporting local organisations over the years.
