Honiton man dies following car accident

A 22-year-old man from Honiton has died in hospital following a road traffic collision at The Halfway Inn, Aylesbeare.

A 22-year-old man from Honiton has died in hospital following a road traffic collision at The Halfway Inn, Aylesbeare.The dead man, who had not been named when the Herald went to press, was the driver of a silver Peugeot 206 that collided with a wall at the pub last Saturday evening.Police are appealing for witnesses to the 7pm accident to come forward.The man was taken by ambulance to the Royal Devon and Exeter hospital with life threatening injuries and later died.Anybody who witnessed the accident is urged to call MPC Curran on 08452 777444.
