32-year-old incited girl to engage in sexual activity.

A Honiton man has been given a community order with a supervision requirement for three years after inciting a teenage girl to engage in sexual activity.

Alastair John Salter, of Chesnut Way, pleaded guilty to five offences of inciting a girl aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity and one of distributing an indecent photograph of a child when he appeared at Taunton Crown Court yesterday (Thursday).

The 32-year-old has to attend a programme to change his behaviour as part of the supervision order and is the subject of a sexual offences prevention order.

Salter is disqualified from working with children indefinitely.

The offence of distributing an indecent image occurred between December 17, 2011, and January 1, 2012.

The incitement to engage in sexual activity offences took place between December 2011 and April 2012.
