Honiton marks the anniversary of the start of World War II

TO mark the anniversary of the outbreak of the Second World War, Allhallows Museum is staging a free open day on Saturday, September 19.

TO mark the anniversary of the outbreak of the Second World War, Allhallows Museum is staging a free open day on Saturday, September 19. The event is being sponsored by Dave Lewis. A display will reflect the many roles that women played in the war. Blitz and Peaces, a group of ENSA re-enactors, will perform wartime songs. The first performance will be at 10am.
