A Tavistock woman with MS was the latest recipient of a new scooter.
A woman from Tavistock has been given a new scooter from a Honiton mobility scheme.
The lady, 49, who has multiple sclerosis - a condition which can affect the brain and spinal cord - was handed the new machine by Carol Gilson, founder of the Joe Gilson Mobility Scheme.
Carol’s scheme, which was founded after the death of her husband Joe, is still continuing to change lives - and a card donation was put through her letterbox recently.
She said: “A big thank you to the person who sent the card saying how much they appreciated my garden and also put a donation inside the card for my mobility scheme.
“Saying thank you sometimes is a very small thing but it means an awful lot.”
