'REASSURANCE' cards have been posted through letterboxes in Honiton - to help reduce the fear of crime in areas where police operations have been carried out.
The cards were recently delivered to addresses in Kings Road, following a police 'sting' that resulted in the discovery of a substantial amount of cash and a quantity of cannabis.
Pc Ian Atyeo says the cards are used to tell residents that police have been operating in their area and that it is nothing for the public to worry about.
