Honiton Premier Inn set for January opening

The 66-bedroom hotel is currently being built on Turks Head Lane.

More than 20 year-round jobs will be created thanks to Premier Inn opening at the beginning of next year.

The 66-bedroom hotel is currently being built on Turks Head Lane.

A Premier Inn spokesman said the hotel is on schedule to open in January, with 27 new jobs created as a result.

They added that the cost of the build is £5million.

Colin Wright, chairman of Honiton and District Chamber of Commerce, said: “As a chamber, we are excited about Premier Inn opening.

“Honiton is desperate for a new accommodation provider and we hope that people staying at Premier Inn visit Honiton and enjoy an evening there.”
