There were plenty of smiles and lots of laughter when Honiton Primary School pupils held their summer fete.

The fun-filled event was enjoyed by staff, pupils and parents alike, who browsed a variety of stalls and enjoyed entertaining performances and displays.

Jocelyn Head, of Honiton Primary School, said: “We had a lot more performances this year, including karate, which involved parents and teachers, a display from the majorettes and an alpaca enclosure.

“It was a great success and a lot of fun was had by all who attended on the day.

“The weather just about held out and the sunshine was in our favour. Pupils from all years enjoyed spending time together and having fun.

“A big thank you needs to go to the school’s Parent, Teacher and Friends’ Association for organising the event and putting on stalls.”
