A school spokeswoman said: “Upottery Primary is extremely fortunate to have a swimming pool onsite, which is kindly maintained by the active PTFA and their fundraising efforts.
“Pupils have taken the opportunity in the heatwave to get some swimming practice in.
“The cycling element will be completed on bicycles for the older ones and scooters for the very youngest pupils and the running will take place on the school field.
“Pupils will be asking friends and family to donate generously.”
