A HEALTHY turnout and enthusiastic welcome greeted Honiton rockers Vanadium and two supporting groups at Turks Head Function Rooms last Friday night.
Heavy metal outfit Vanadium was performing live in Honiton, the band's home town, for the first time.
Also on stage were Man Bites Dawg and Out of Enemies, also from Honiton. A fourth group, The Prospects, was unable to perform.
Out of Enemies is tipped for success, and support for Vanadium is snowballing.
Nick Thornton, of Turks Head Function Rooms, said he was delighted to have been able to host the live music event.
He told the Herald the turnout was higher than expected.
Vanadium particularly impressed the audience with its level of musicianship, while Out of Enemies displayed a unique vocal brand.
