The Baton charity donate �1,000 to the Chelsea Pensioners Appeal.
A HONITON-BASED charity was honoured to be able to donate a cheque for �1,000 to help the iconic Chelsea Pensioners.
The founder of The Baton charity Alan Rowe MBE and trustees Pauline Rowe and Catherine Boulter presented the cheque to Chelsea Pensioner Gordon Sanders and Michael Walker-Smith from the Royal Hospital.
The money will go towards the Chelsea Pensioners Appeal to help towards the costs of modernising the living accommodation at the Royal Hospital, which is home to the Chelsea Pensioners.
