A Broadclyst man has benefited from the generosity of Honiton-based Joe Gilson Mobility Scheme.
Alan Alford was presented with a scooter by Carol Gilson, the scheme’s founder.
Alan suffers from Huntington’s disease.
Addressing Carol, Alan’s wife said: “You don’t know how much this will change his life and mine.”
Carol is currently looking for more working scooters.
They will be donated to a person in need.
Anyone who wants to donate one to Carol can call her on 01404 43341.
