Honiton scooter donation will give father greater independence says son

Brian Salisbury, 79, has received a scooter from the Joe Gilson Mobility Scheme.

His son Richard received the scooter on his behalf from scheme founder Carol Gilson.

Richard said: “This will give my dad his independence and will transform his life.”

Mrs Gilson said she is always pleased to help and called for anyone to get in touch if they have scooter or electric wheelchair they don’t need.
