Honiton Scouts hold a successful jumble sale

The sale, held at Honiton Scout Hall, in Dowell Street, raised £85 from a variety of bric-a-brac stalls, cakes and refreshments and a popular cuddly toy tombola.
Youngsters from 1st Honiton Scouts put on a well-attended jumble sale at the weekend to raise money for the group.
The sale, held at Honiton Scout Hall, in Dowell Street, raised £85 from a variety of bric-a-brac stalls, cakes and refreshments and a popular cuddly toy tombola.
Helen Turner, leader of 1st Honiton Scouts, said: “We did not start until 9.30am, but by 9.15am, we already had 16 people browsing.
“It was a brilliant day and everyone had a fun morning.”

The jumble sale was the scout group’s first fundraiser of the year.
