A THIEF has returned a plant pot stolen from outside a town centre pub in Honiton.
The blue china pot, which contained a rose bush and is worth 200, was returned late last night - with a letter of apology.
Although the note was not signed, the author explained they had been out on the town in Honiton, had a couple of drinks and woke up in the morning with the plant pot.
He or she could not remember where the pot had come from - but press reports jogged their memory.
The note contained two apologies.
