Honiton U3A gearing up for folding structures talk

Robin Wootton will speak the Beehive on June 21.

The town’s U3A will welcome speaker Robin Wootton, Honorary Research Fellow Exeter University, to their meeting at The Beehive on Wednesday, June 21.

His talk entitled ‘Beetle Wings and Pop-ups’ will explain how fans, origami, pop up books and beetle wings have helped in the spectacular development of many man made folding structures. Doors open 1.30pm for a 2pm start.
