AN investigation in under way after a motorist discovered eight wheel nuts had been removed from two wheels on a Suziki Vita jeep.
AN investigation in under way after a motorist discovered eight wheel nuts had been removed from two wheels on a Suziki Vita jeep.
Police in Honiton say this is a real concern as the owner of the vehicle is unsure exactly how long the nuts have been missing.
PSCO Sue Rowe said: "The vehicle is used as a family car and has two baby seats in the back seat.
"This could potentially have caused an accident and the consequences does not bear thinking of.
"It may be worth checking your vehicles. If you find any wheel nuts missing, or you have any information regarding this, contact us on 08452 777 444.
