Joy Boyland collects £250 as Rotary Clubs’ annual charities draw raises £2,400 for worthy causes

A Honiton woman was one of the lucky winners in the South East Devon Rotary Clubs’ charities draw.

More than £24,000 was made for the benefit of local charities and £2,400 distributed in prizes. The draw was conducted by the High Sheriff of Devon, John A T Lee.

One of the major prize winners, Joy Boyland, of Honiton, won £250 with a ticket sold by FORCE cancer charity. She

was presented with her prize at the home of David Cantle, a founder of FORCE by John Foulkes, a member of the Rotary Club of Axminster, one of the participating Rotary Clubs.
