HONITON Young Farmers staged their annual beef and dairy show at Hembury Fort Farm, by kind permission of Pete and Sue Snell.

HONITON Young Farmers staged their annual beef and dairy show at Hembury Fort Farm, by kind permission of Pete and Sue Snell.The event took place in sweltering heat on Sunday, May 11.Members participated in four classes - beef calf, bulling heifer, beef bullock and in milk heifer.Classes attracted up to 15 entries each.The competition concluded with a show dinner and prize-giving ceremony at Dunkeswell Air Centre.Club chairman Babs Leach presented winners with trophies and certificates.Rachael Snell, club spokesperson, said: "Honiton YFC would like to thank all those who gave their time to come and judge the show."We would also like to thank Masons and DP Nutrition for sponsoring the day."To join Honiton YFC, or to find out more, call 0797942515.
