Honiton youngsters receive top scouting awards

In total, 12 children were given certificates.

Several youngsters from Honiton Beavers have been recognised for their contribution to the troop.

Charlie Gillson, Benjamin Crabb, Adam Twaddle and Lewis Palmer were presented with their bronze awards - the highest honour they can receive.]

The four youngsters belong to Leonard Beavers.

George Selway, Cameron Cull and George Davey, who are part of Jose Beavers, also received a bronze award each.

Several Honiton cubs also received top awards.

Alfie Terry, Oriana Burford, of Monday Cottrell Cubs, were presented with their silver awards by scouts district commissioner Sally Yeo.

She also presented Torin Brunskill with his Bronze Award.

Zoe Braunton-Turner presented Finlay Johns and Oliver Davis, of Tuesday Jackson Cubs, with their silver awards.

Silver is the top award that a cub can achieve in scouting.

Torin was presented his bronze as he has just moved up to cubs but completed his bronze award.
