DONALD Salter, former tower captain at St Paul's Church, Honiton, has been honoured for his services to bellringing over a lifetime. A plaque, recording a quarter peel rung in his honour, was presented to Mr Salter outside the church earlier this month. M

DONALD Salter, former tower captain at St Paul's Church, Honiton, has been honoured for his services to bellringing over a lifetime. A plaque, recording a quarter peel rung in his honour, was presented to Mr Salter outside the church earlier this month. Mr Salter was tower captain for 18 years and Deputy Branch Ringing Master for 16 years.
