Hope for Heroes campaign reaches Honiton

A POIGNANT march through Honiton by service personnel highlighted the sacrifices being made by their comrades in Iraq and Afghanistan last Tuesday.

A POIGNANT march through Honiton by service personnel highlighted the sacrifices being made by their comrades in Iraq and Afghanistan last Tuesday.Around 30 servicemen and women stopped off in Honiton, as they attempted to carry a stretcher from Plymouth to London in five days to raise money for the Hope for Heroes charity.The march aimed to raise awareness about injured service personnel and the charity which aims to help them.Deputy mayor Councillor Vivienne Ash took the salute as the team marched past St Paul's Church.
