Horse rescue in Feniton

Firefighters called to rescue a horse stuck in wire fencing.

A horse had to be rescued by firefighters after its leg had become stuck in wire fencing in Feniton.

Fire crews from Ottery St Mary and special rescue vehicles from Bridgwater attended the incident at Beechwood Farm at 7.26 this morning.

The horse was released unharmed at 8.56am using small tools and bolt croppers.
