A Honiton butchers has named the winner of its fundraising draw for charity Hospiscare.
Porkies, in New Street, was selling tickets for a leg of lamb, vegetables, stuffing and bottle of wine for £1, with proceeds going towards the end-of-life charity.
The event raised £150 for Hospiscare, which runs the Kings House day hospice in Honiton.
The winner was Angela Phillips, from Broadhembury, who coincidentally has worked for Hospiscare for the last 27 years.
Laurie Spencer, of Porkies, said: “I am really happy that we could do something for a local charity like Hospiscare.
“It is very fitting that the winner was Angela, who has given years of service to this wonderful charity.”
Hospiscare provides high quality care and support to people with a progressive life-limiting illness.
The charity currently has 160 staff and more than 1,000 volunteers.
