Ancient ceremony held in Honiton High Street.
The glove is up in Honiton - signalling the start of the town’s former fair week.
Town crier Dave Retter and civic leaders have led the traditional hot pennies ceremony in High Street.
Coins were first thrown, as is tradition, from the Pannier Market, followed by public houses, including The Holt, The Three Tuns and The Volunteer.
