The powerful force of nature was brought home to members of Seaton Men’s Probus by stunning images included in Robin Miller’s audio-visual presentation History and Beauty of Earth’s Volcanoes, which covered tectonic plate movement and volcanic activity around the world. Clearly the world urgently needs to understand far more about volcanic activity patterns since, although regularly monitored, they remain unpredictable. The next meeting will be held at Seaton Methodist Hall on Wednesday, March 2, when Molly Bond will present her talk entitled Wallis and the Abdication.
