Roof of Lyme Regis home is destroyed.

THIS is the scene in Lyme Regis after fire ripped through the loft space of a property overlooking Lyme Regis’ historic Cobb.

A woman sustained burns in the fire, which was reported to the emergency services on Sunday morning.

Residents awoke to the sound of screaming sirens as fire crews from across West Dorset and neighbouring East Devon raced to the scene.
