Tourism businesses across West Dorset could boost their trade - by signing up to a free event.West Dorset District Council's tourism team is holding a free half-day Tourism Business Forum to show the district's tourism businesses the wide variety of opportunities open to them to increase custom.During the afternoon there will be several guest speakers discussing topics including how tourism businesses can benefit from the London 2012 Games, green tourism, free and subsidised training opportunities and how the 'Destination Dorset' partnership will improve the co-ordination of tourism across the county.Robert Gould, leader of the council, said: "This free half-day forum is a fantastic opportunity for tourism businesses in West Dorset to find out about a range of innovative initiatives available to them to help their trade."The forum is on Thursday, March 6, at Highlands End Holiday Park, Eype, near Bridport.
