CELEBRITY chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall has told organisers of the Colyton Country Market he hopes to go along on Tuesday, September 8.

This will be the last of the outdoor markets for this summer - and residents with extra flowers, fruit and vegetables in their gardens are invited to bring them to the Produce stall where they can be sold.

The organisers are offering a free stall to the local uniformed youth organisations, including scouts, to do some fundraising.

'Olive man' will be back with his array of the flavoured fruit, and there will also be a selection of fresh local produce - including meats, fish and bread.

For more information call Jacky on (01297) 553992. The event will run from 9.30am to 1pm in the Market Square.
