Archant

The founder of the Baton, Alan Rowe MBE, joins the group’s latest meeting to share more about the Honiton-based charity’s activities.

Members of Honiton’s Care and Share group had a ‘humbling experience’ at their latest meeting when they were joined by Alan Rowe MBE - the founder of the Baton.

He explained about the work done by the charity, which was set up by Mr Rowe to boost support for British troops.

Carol Gilson, who helped start the Care and Share group, said she felt privileged to know Mr Rowe and thanked him and his team for all the work they do to support the armed forces.

The next meeting of the group takes place on Monday, August 12, at Honiton Baptist Church, from 10.30am until noon.
