Lyme Regis lifeboat joins the search before mystery man makes it back to shore and leaves the scene.
After rescuing two men from a sinking boat, Lyme Regis RNLI lifeboat crew launched for a second time on Friday (November 4) following a report that a person had entered the sea fully clothed at Seatown.
The crew, launched at 5.48pm, carried out a shoreline search and one member went ashore to liaise with coastguards and the person who reported the incident.
It was later established that the person had returned to the shore and had left the scene. The lifeboat was stood down at 6.25pm.
