Whilst out for a pleasant walk down the road by the river near Cloakham with my partner over the weekend, I was alarmed to see the hunting fraternity with their hounds chasing and killing rabbits - totally inhumane and barbaric was the spectacle.Such was the lack of concern of these bloodlusting thugs that they cared not a jot for the fact that their hounds also disturbed and chased some sheep - not forgetting, of course, that it is lambing season, too! These 'people' like to have everything their own way and their total disregard for other people, let alone the wildlife and farm animals, is absolutely reprehensible. There were a number of people gathered to 'watch' and I only wish I could have filmed the event and put it to the media. It spoilt my enjoyable stroll and upset my partner considerably, though I doubt that concerns those involved. I would be interested to see if I am in the minority here! D SimpsonAxminster
