With reference to the other item about charging for EDDC employees to pay for their parking... The reply was so weak. Does East Devon District Council think that none of us have a brain cell? I wonder how many people who work in the East Devon towns have to travel to work by car, because there is not suitable public transport and have to pay parking charges to EDDC?
This could be resolved by companies who employ these people to apply for free car parking tickets that would bring everyone up to the same standard as EDDC employees.
I suggest the council sets up a table in a public place in every town, and gets the responses of local people.
