REFERENCE your story "Councillor denies poop claim"...I, too, have witnessed Mr Burrows not clearing up after his dog when it had fouled on the pavement. The incident took place late last summer when, along with several friends and family members (nine of us in total who witnessed it!). We were sat together outside of Winston's pub in Harbour Road, enjoying some food and drink. Mr Burrows came walking along the road with his dog when it stopped right outside the pub entrance and pooped on the pavement close to where we eating. Mr Burrows made no attempt to clear up after his dog and happily continued on his way. Thankfully, the landlady of Winston's used several buckets of water to wash away the dog's mess into the road so no-one could accidentally walk it into the pub. It's bad enough that Mr Burrows didn't clear up after his dog but, even worse, now to deny that his dog fouled the pavement when clearly it did.R Ledger4 Old Coastguard Cottage Axmouth
