HONITON residents are being urged to take advantage of the Warm Front Scheme, a programme designed to improve the living conditions of vulnerable people living in cold, damp and energy inefficient houses, after an increase in the grant levels available.
HONITON residents are being urged to take advantage of the Warm Front Scheme, a programme designed to improve the living conditions of vulnerable people living in cold, damp and energy inefficient houses, after an increase in the grant levels available.Grants have risen from �2,700 to �3,500 for gas central heating and from �4,000 to �6,000 for oil-based systems.To qualify residents must either own or privately rent their property and should be in receipt of a qualifying benefit.The provider of the Scheme, eaga, is urging those households who think they're eligible to apply by calling freephone 0800 316 6005.
