Through your paper I would like to send a huge thank you to shoppers in Seaton and residents of Homebaye House, who helped us to raise £150 for Cancer Research on December 22. Once again, we did Christmas singing in the town and the residents' lounge at Homebaye. Our three granddaughters from Yeovil joined us, Abigail (13) and Amber (11) Smith, plus Hollie Hedingham (seven), as well as a couple of friends. We sang an assortment of carols and jolly Christmas songs, which had people joining in and thanking us for bringing Christmas spirit to a cold December day! Having recently lost a close family member to cancer, we were thrilled to raise this amount in his memory. Thank you, Seaton. Mary Bowles Harbour Road Seaton
