A CHARITY Cream Tea held at a home in Uplyme raised over £1,500.

A CHARITY Cream Tea held at a home in Uplyme raised over £1,500.Sheila and Derek Denning, of Holcombe Lane, donated the money to Weldmar Hospiscare, in Dorset, in memory of their daughter, Julie, who had spent some time there.Nearly 200 attended the event and the couple expressed their thanks for their support and generosity.Mrs Denning said: "We choose local charities, because we like to give something back. A big thank you to everyone - it was a lovely afternoon between the rain.
