AXMINSTER Young Farmers' Club has donated £300 to a trust fund in memory of a late member.

AXMINSTER Young Farmers' Club has donated £300 to a trust fund in memory of a late member.A cheque was presented to the family of the late Laura Persey, who died last year. The money will be used to help teach young people from the countryside skills ranging from hedge laying to basic animal husbandry.The club has raised £14,000 for good causes this year..Club chairman Vicki Thomas said: "This is a great achievement for the club, to have donated so much to charity. All the money has been raised by the 65 members and it shows that young people are still doing a lot for the local communities.
