Pupils at Mill Water School had an arresting day when they were joined by officers from Honiton’s neighbourhood policing team.
PCSO’s Sue Rowe and Steve Mingo brought along one of the station’s police cars, which proved to be a great hit with the children, and were also on hand to answer any questions.
Pupils even got to dress up and have a go at being police officers for the morning.
“The children just loved being in the car, touching and playing with the controls and dressing up, having stickers,” says PCSO Rowe.
Some of the children were able to practise using the ‘throw line’, which is thrown into to water to pull out victims.
