Man rescued after suffering a suspected broken ankle on Monmouth Beach
A WALKER with a suspected broken ankle was airlifted to hospital from Lyme Regis on Saturday afternoon
South West Ambulance control called local coastguards for help to recover the man from Monmouth Beach at around 3pm.
They assisted paramedics to prepare the casualty and also set up an emergency landing site on the beach for the air ambulance to land.
