Inspirational meeting with gold medal winner

TWO Axe Valley Pedallers met gold medal winner Paul Manning and congratulated him for his part in the new Olympic record set by the Great Britain team.

TWO Axe Valley Pedallers met gold medal winner Paul Manning - and congratulated him for his part in the new Olympic record set by the Great Britain team.Working as a commentator for ITV4 on the Tour of Britain, Mr Manning took time to chat with Alistair Cope and Glen Morgan of the Seaton-based cycle club.Mr Cope said: "Glen and I have both done some impressive cycling together over the last few years."We have cycled from John O'Groats to Land's End and just the other day a round cycle tour of 253 kilometres in a day. "But speaking to Paul his achievements were both inspiring and humbling!
